Summer 2018 Internships

The NewJ Summer internship is a chance for us to invest in you as you discover your gifts while giving you the opportunity to serve in our church.
Each intern will have a primary area they will work in, but you will also have a chance to get involved in a wide range of activites.
Interns will be working in three main areas. Social Media, Marketing/Creative and Administration.

  1. Motivated

  2. Enthusiastic

  3. Non-judgemental

  4. Trustworthy

  5. Open-minded

  6. Reliable

  7. Innovative

  8. Not one to quit easily

  9. Good at identifying options and alternatives

Interns should be prepared to commit time and energy towards their training. Interns should also be prepared to attend regular meetings with either their co-ordinator or a designated supervisor. This is a great opportunity to guide and support others through self-development. As well as receiving training and support, your time as a Intern can be counted towards awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Millennium Volunteers award, and other accredited qualifications. It may also be of benefit when completing UCAS application forms or writing your CV.

Internship applications for 2018-19 close Friday 13th July 2018. If you need any further information contact or call the admin office on 0121 359 2891
